Red Skin Records have deliberately chosen to be a digital record label, because music has become widely available on digital devices. More music has been purchased through digital download sales than ever before and physical record sales are dropping. The digital download market has increased by 400% in the last year and, as a result, overall sales of music singles have increased by more than 50% in the United Kingdom alone.
Digital sales allow us to spend more money on marketing and promotion as we are able to save on manufacturing costs of physical product and its distribution.
However, we do not just sell your music on-line as we are a complete record label we provide a full and comprehensive service for our signed artist which includes press releases, on-line promotion, shoot-a-video promotion and airplay of your music video, remixes of your tracks by other record producers (with your written permission, of course), radio plugging, personalised public relations (PR) campaigns, artwork and publicity photo shoots.
Our guarantee to you the artist:
We undertake that we will not sell, market or deal with any form of music publishing of your music productions unless so specified in a mutually separately agreed legal contract signed by both you and/or your appointed agents and the directors of Red Skin Records and/or our legal representatives.
Regardless of which deal you may opt for, once you have signed the relevant contract with us we will place your music in the correct genre or genres. We will set you up with a secure Red Skin Records artist business account that only you and/or authorised representatives can view via the Internet. This will be unique to you the individual or the individual band and will provide you with the opportunity to log in to your account and view all of your music download sales on a daily basis.
We will then account to you the Artist within ninety (90) days of 31 December and 30 June in each calendar year. Statements prepared by us the Company shall be in reasonable detail specifying on a title-by-title basis the nature and source of all monies received by or credited to Company together with exchange rates (if applicable).

deal one
You send us your music demo and, if we hear the potential, we will offer you a production/development deal.
If creatively agreed by both parties, Red Skin Records will arrange for an experienced record producer to help deliver a professional quality music production. This will include providing additional disc jockey (DJ) remixes of your tracks, if needed and depending on the music genre.
We arrange and provide professional mastering.
Your track is placed with one of our radio pluggers to get your music played on the air and arranges interviews.
Red Skin Records shoots your music video and our PR department get your videos on television and arranges interviews on broadcast television.
In general, undertaking all the aspects of bringing your music to the consumer marketplace, including full exploitation of the digital sales of your music product that we have invested in and believed in from the beginning.
If your finished product music is accepted by our in house A&R team we will then provide you with a draft contract in one of the two other types of deals listed on this digital label page. Deal one is a production/development deal and, if successful, we would naturally expect you to sign an exclusive agreement as a recording artist to Red Skin Records Ltd.

You send us a complete and finished track and if we like your track will offer you a deal to release your music on our digital platform.
We still provide you with a professional radio plugger to promote your music on the radio.
We help you shoot your music video promo.
This deal is designed, again, on an exclusive deal with Red Skin Records but is also designed for specific music productions of yours only to be signed to us for an agreed period of time (not restricting you the artist as a whole, allowing you to be free to work with others on any other music productions you so wish to)

UK, US and other national chart authorities monitor the registered digital platforms sales of music 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (24/7), including ours. (Ideal for independent record labels and their artists to join us.)
This deal is simply a completely non-exclusive digital platform available to record labels of all sizes and individual musicians wishing to sell their music productions on our digital platform without having to on agree to an exclusive deal. However,. whilst Red Skin Records will actively market both our website and feature our signed artists at all levels, we will not actively promote the artists’ music on radio and television.
